🌊 Overcoming Fear
Fear is a common human experience, but God repeatedly says 'Do not fear.' These verses help us trade fear for faith.
For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Fear not, for I am with you — do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
You did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but of adoption.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Perfect love casts out fear — where God's love is complete, fear has no place.
Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
